My sister took this of me while we were visiting 5POINTZ in Long Island City, NY this past March.
Hello everyone! I hope I still have some readers. I’ve been so MIA lately, (on here at least… I’m on Facebook constantly) xP
Recently I’ve been trying to tidy up my online presence. First and foremost: my online portfolios.
The one that I’ve been meaning to switch to, and update the most is my Behance one. I made it almost a year ago. After researching for find decent free online portfolio hosts, I came across Behance. First of all, there is no limit to how much you can upload, and it’s still free. Major plus! I also liked it because it separated uploads into “projects”. What I like to keep track of is the process that each project takes. Behance really gives me a chance to do that. I feel that if I put it up, it’ll show people that I do take a creative process, and that I am more than willing to work with criticism and be flexible for changes.
It took me a while to finally delete, but I eventually canceled my account with Carbonmade, and also deleted my DeviantArt hosted portfolio. I saw these as good tools, but it wasn’t exactly what I needed. They were also extremely out of date, and the lack of space made it hard for me to decide which of my projects to include. Most importantly though, having so many online accounts gets hectic, and it’s hard for me to keep so many updated at a time. These two offered me a good start, but I made a choice to stick with Behance. :)
I can’t believe it’s almost been a year since college graduation @_@
Like.. holy moly! My head is spinning just thinking about it. When I look back over this year, I see a lot of things that I’ve accomplished, and a lot that I still need to do.
Last night I had a hard time going to sleep because I couldn’t stop thinking about all of the things I want to do this coming year and things that I still need to do. I see a new fresh start in the fall again. I find it funny how I still see myself working on a school schedule. Maybe it’s cause I’m still in a college town? Haha, yeah, that’s most likely.
Adjusting to post-college life has been hard/strange. I am glad that I got to stick around in Eugene for another year, and as of right now, it looks like I’ll be here again for another year.
I’m still looking out for more opportunities, and trying my best to take advantage of it.
Maybe when graduation rolls around at the UofO again, I’ll do another post about my fantastic 1st year out of college. So much has happened! I can’t sit here and type it all right now… so I’ll leave it for later.
Anyway, thanks for reading!
“Start on January 1st with an empty jar. Throughout the year write the good things that happened to you on little pieces of paper. On December 31st, open the jar and read all the amazing things that happened to you that year.”
I’m reblogging this again, to remind people that reblogged this earlier in the year with the “I’M GOING TO DO THIS” comments. Now, here it is. I’m reminding you. You said you would do this. Now join me and start this Tuesday.

Each year, surfers flock to the Tahitian village of Teahupoo to ride what photographer Ben Thouard calls “..the most powerful and perfectly artistic waves in the world.”

Harsh flash be gone!
Consider it donzo, with a little help from The Deluxe Pop-Up Flash Bounce.
This gizmo uses mirrors (and just a bit of magic) to bounce your DSLR’s overly eager flash off of a nearby ceiling or wall, creating softer more even light.
Wanna grab a coffee sometime?
I always sort of hesitate when people ask me this. It’s not that I don’t want to meet up with them, it’s just that I’m not a huge fan of coffee. But I always agree to meet up anyway and don’t mention it.
When I finally meet up with them, the conversation usually goes like this:
Them: “You gonna get anything?”
Me: “Nah, I’m not really a coffee drinker”
Them: “Aw dang, I didn’t know that! I’m sorry I had you come to a coffee place”
Me: “It’s okay, it doesn’t really matter”
I’ve presented this small dilemma to friends, and the solution is usually just to get some tea instead. Lol. So now I occasionally get a Chai Tea.
Anyway, this was just a random thought. I guess the point I wanted to get out was that I have nothing against people who drink coffee; I just don’t drink it myself. But don’t feel bad about inviting me to meet you at a coffee place, because seeing you is way more important to me than what I am able to drink there. Haha
Just some random thoughts on my newest blog XP
