This is how I feel right now about all you iPhone5 fanatics out there…
So a little over a year ago I made this for a class project where we had to use found images to create a project.
The story behind this:
- For our class we had to keep a blog with daily drawings/submissions (find mine here)
- The dailies would usually correspond with what our project was going to be that week, in this case “Found Images” (DD38-DD52)
- On the bottom of the blog I had, there was widget where you could feed fish
- I started to come up with a theme/campaign to feed my fish! And thus submitted things related to that (see here)
- When it got down to actually starting the project/deciding what to do for my actual project I wanted to use my fish theme somehow…
- I started to think of what fish reminded me of. One of the things that came to mind were the talapia in the canals back home (in hawaii). Basically they would mindlessly eat anything that you threw in the water, whether it was a leaf, or a rock, or actual food… So from there I started to think about consumerism, and which led to Apple products
- This was my first version of the project
- The one you see above is what I revised it to after class critique
TLDR For a class project I decided to make a comment on Apple product consumerism…
